Youth Organisations

The club has had long links with the local youths. I have happy memories myself about dinghy sailing courses at Port Edgar, sponsered by the club. I also had many a happy weekend camping and BBQ's on Inchcolm island as a boy in the Boys Brigade, again with the full backing and resources that the club had to offer. I am not the only member of the 4th Bo'ness Boys Brigade that went on to own a boat in adulthood. The club has two toher members that were former Boys Brigade members. The sea cadets have a history going back many decades. Several of our members were previous sea cadets and Alex Fernie's boat - Intrepid - was an ex sea cadet boat called T.S.Fearless.
